Student Expectations

We learn from each other!

This course is not one in which you will play a passive role. Instead, you are expected to take an ACTIVE part in your own learning and that of the class as well. In the drama classroom, rehearsal and discussion will dominate over lectures so that we can learn from each other. Each of you brings something special to the course, something special that our cast and crew needs if we are to be successful. Be ready every week to contribute by joining in on the synchronous Google Meets and the discussion forums.

To be successful in this course, you are expected to:

Read the entire Syllabus.
Consistently check Announcements in your school email account and Canvas Inbox.
Review the Calendar for due dates.
Participate in Discussions (by posting your initial thoughts and responding to your classmates).
Communicate with your teacher any problems or confusion well in advance of due dates.
Complete all rehearsal work on time.
Attend all synchronous class meetings.
